Beckett Guest House

Easy to find, the room was well decorated and clean with towel, soap and toilet roll provided. Fairly near the centre, though it's uphill all the way! Door codes were sent an hour in advance. Shower worked well. Lovely communal kitchen, with fridge, cooker, washing machine, etc. There is street parking outside the property, but you need to tell the owners your car reg in advance.

Room C was accessed by a steep flight of stairs, quite hard for elderly to get up with luggage. The room itself is west facing, so was incredibly hot in the afternoon. Neighbours, sitting outside were noisy until after midnight. In the bathroom, the shower surround was coming away from the base and, once you pressed the cold tap, you got water for more than 15 seconds whether you wanted it or not!
