GBThis was our second visit to the barn and totally fantastic. The buildings and gardens are so beautiful that we chose to use this visit as an art retreat. We spent the weekend sitting in the garden painting and drawing. There were so many beautiful areas it was difficult to decide which to choose. It is a truly idyllic place with beautiful planting and excellent layout. The barn itself is so well equipped and so tastefully decorated, it feels like pure luxury. We went out for excellent meals in the evenings, all of which were 7-16 minutes drive away. Louise and her husband couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, they are both wonderful and obviously work very hard to keep the place so beautifully, they deserve huge success. All in all it is a slice of heaven we'll definitely come again.
GBGBWe stayed at the barn for our 1-year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed! Louise was kind enough to go above and beyond with thoughtful little touches to help us celebrate, which made the weekend feel extra special. The barn itself is beautiful! Spotless, stylish, and so cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable (we both slept like logs!), and the air con meant we could keep the space just right. The location is peaceful and private, with gorgeous countryside views, an adorable duck pond with plenty of wildlife to spot. We loved watching the ducks strolling over to the apple tree before heading out to explore for the day. The barn is a short drive from some of the prettiest villages and great walking routes. One of our favourite moments was sitting outside in the late afternoon listening to the birds and watching the ducks & rabbits in the gorgeous private dining area. We left feeling so relaxed, happy, and grateful! It was the perfect way to mark our anniversary, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you to Paul & Louise for a truly fantastic stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
