Fabulous Barn in Great Wolford Moreton in Marsh

Stunning property, brilliant location and the host was so welcoming and accommodating. Great facilities and the garden setting was amazing! Would love to come stay again

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property

Loved it! the perfect getaway for a weekend away. Scenic and beautiful surroundings, the property is modern with the bathroom and bedroom finished to a high spec! The host Louise is friendly and very attentive .We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. It felt like a home away from home. The photos don’t do the place justice, as it’s even more pretty in reality!

Frankly - nothing really, good value well described

We really enjoyed the garden because it was beautifully maintained, the variety of plants and flowers create a lovely garden atmosphere at night and during the day. The barn is a very homely stay and beautiful views from either side of the property. Everything was kept very clean and everything you need is there for you.

The only issue we experienced was sunlight coming through early morning. However we were provided with eye masks to resolve the problem.

The property and grounds are absolutely stunning - a little slice of paradise set in the Cotswolds. I visited the Oak Barn solo to escape from the city and work in peace (Wi-Fi is super fast). The barn has all the amenities you need including a beautiful bed (facing panoramic views), a kitchen and a beautiful bathroom with tub. Can't recommend enough!

Our stay at the Luxurious Oak Barn in Shipston on Stour was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the serene countryside, this charming retreat offered everything we could have hoped for and more, making our trip truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the garden views which were meticulously maintained, providing a peaceful oasis to unwind. We spent the afternoons enjoying the tranquility here, which was a highlight of our trip. The barn itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. Our host Louise was absolutely delightful. Although she respected our privacy, she communicated well and even left a thoughtful welcome basket filled with local treats. This unexpected gesture made us feel incredibly special and added a charming personal touch. The attention to detail throughout the property really made our stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We found the private entrance to be a great feature, offering an added layer of privacy and convenience. We didn’t encounter any issues mentioned in the previous review. In fact, we found the kitchen well-equipped and enjoyed preparing meals with ease. The provisions were generous and thoughtfully curated. As for the minor critiques about slippers and shower products, we found these to be of high quality and yet another detail that went way beyond the service offering, adding to the overall excellence of our stay. The barn’s charm lies in its character and the personalised touches that set it apart from standard accommodations. For anyone seeking a luxurious escape in the Cotswolds, I highly recommend Luxurious Oak Barn. Its stellar reviews across various platforms speak volumes, and our experience certainly lived up to the high praise. There was nothing that we didn't like! The stay was perfect and highly recommended.

The Location is beautiful and the gardens are lovely . Bed and bedding very comfortable

The host did communicate well by text but was absent from the property during our stay and we were left to welcome ourselves to the property. There were some courtesy slippers but only one pair were new the others were pre used. There were no bathrobes ,an issue when walking to and from the bathroom on the ground floor and having to pass a huge picture window. The toilet paper was cheap and basic . Shower gel had been watered down . Bath towels were damp. There was no wardrobe for hanging garments ,the drawers were dusty and in need of a clean ,especially the dressing table top drawer which was full of hair and debris. We did not unpack anything, just left our clothes in our suit cases. The housekeeper really needs to up the game generally ,while the property felt cluttered to the point that we felt we were staying in some ones house. The lack of blackout blinds or elementary light blocking curtains meant we were awake every morning with the birds at sunrise as the bedroom picture windows had only opaque sun blinds. Oak Barn was Sleep Deprivation Barn for us. The kitchen was a very cluttered affair tucked under the stairwell . The provisions that were provided very basic and unappealing and we eschewed cooking or eating in the barn and only made a hot drink. Oak Barn has only pretensions of providing a "luxurious stay", the reality for us was that it failed to deliver any luxury only mediocrity . Perhaps "Luxurious" is a relative term and subjective , however there are many other options in the area at this price point that reflect the term luxurious far more accurately in our minds.
