Historic two bed apartment in the City Centre

Noise level from surrounding clubs, pubs etc was very loud.

Location was good although a little noisy at night

Hot water was only available on a booster setting on the boiler and took 2 hours to heat up. The quantity of water was barely enough for 2 showers and we were a party of 3. There was a terrible smell coming from the shower drain that filled the apartment after the shower had been used, the shower filter was filthy. The microwave appeared to function yet nothing heated up and there was no shelving in the fridge for storage.

Great location and very easy to keep tidy. The bed at the top of the living room was a surprising nice addition to the place.

A few things were broken when we arrived but nothing too off putting.

Location was good, there's 3 double beds.

Getting in is a nightmare if you've had a drink and the showers cold.

Nice of them to leave earplugs but the flat is so noisy that it's impossible to get a good night's sleep unless you're a night owl and sleep in the day Flat is not childsafe which wasn't mentioned when we booked with a 2 year old (climbing hazards etc) Cold as cracks in windows No TV - OK this wasn't listed in the facilities when I checked afterwards but for 120 quid a night you'd expect a telly Mildew on Windows and in shower, generally not that clean Hot water only works sometimes even when you follow the instructions they left Were unable to offer even a slightly later checkout time despite 4 days notice and a 6 hour turnaround between checkout and checkin Overall this is a decent place to stay if you and a couple of mates are going on the lash in Bristol for a weekend and don't care about comfort, but it shouldn't be made available to travellers who indicate they are staying for business or have children Sure therell be loads of excuses in response to this and yes we didn't complain about this when we were staying (don't really have time to engage with the landlord when am working and juggling a kid) but end of the day it was just really disappointing for 500 quid.

the position is fantastic in the middle of the old town, very peculiar and to close to many restaurants, clubs … the apartment is very welcoming, well furnished and with a touch of style that I appreciated a lot

we could not shower because there was some problem with hot water the common entrance to the building is dirty and stinky
