Character 1 bedroom country annex in West Camel

The welcome, cleanliness, facilities, extras and location.

After travelling the length and breadth of England as a self employed surveyor, I can honestly say this is my favourite property i have ever stayed in. The apartment was fully equipped, beautifully furnished and was truly a home from home for me during another hectic business week. The location is a stunning small village, and the apartment’s front room, kitchen and bedroom all have an open aspect onto a field with a flock of sheep. A lovely pub is a mere 200m away and serves well cooked food and a good selection of drinks. If self catering is preferred, a fridge freezer microwave oven and conventional oven is also on hand together with a complete range of cookware and utensils. With peace and quiet in abundance and hosts that are on hand if needed but not seen when you don’t, secure off street parking and close links to the main routes, this is fantastic. A separate lounge with all the TV you would want to consume rounds off this little gem. 10/10

I was away on business!

Amazing property …… Zanna and Colin have thought of everything for guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The property was clean and comfortable we will be staying again.

Immaculate self catering flat, very quietly located with private parking space..(Off road) so ideal if you have a classic or precious car ! Movement sensor helpful as it’s very dark in the village if you return at night.. A bottle of milk, a bottle of water, butter jam and marmalade was in the fridge with tea, coffee sugar and substitute were all provided, with a round white “ boule” of bread .. good basics.

Not the fault of the owners however a number of the local access lanes are closed for development (we assume) of the A303.. The owners gave clear instructions… don’t rely on sat nav! Pillows were firm but I always take my own ..

The property was comfy and clean with off street parking and the added extras where a nice touch. Zanna and Colin were friendly hosts and where there if needed but otherwise left you to have privacy. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our second time of staying here, absolutely fantastic accommodation and suits us perfectly when visiting our Grandbabies.

Loved the apartment, it was spacious, clean, and comfortable and had great views. Zanna was communicative and helpful and even left some freshly baked bread for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend.
