Character 1 bedroom country annex in West Camel

The annex was lovely and the hosts had kindly decorated for Christmas which was a really nice touch!

The only thing we could think of is that a door mat would have been handy. Other than that, perfect!

Everything was just brilliant. A lovely place, with all the facilities you would need. The fresh bread, butter and jam left for our arrival were a lovely addition.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We loved everything about the property from the location to the tiniest details. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, gorgeous views, comfortable bed and the complimentary tea, coffee, milk, butter, marmalade and cob loaf were a great bonus. The annex was spotless and smelled amazing and the lounge was a great place to unwind. Attention to detail was excellent and all crockery, even the kettle and microwave etc were so pretty and spotless. We can’t wait to stay again next time we travel. Zanna was nice and explained everything so well. Flexible check in and check out were appreciated as we were both so tired from travelling. We wished we had booked for longer and will be recommending Barn End to our veteran friends when they are visiting the Fleet Air Arm museum.

Beautiful character, very well equipped, wonderful warm welcoming host; the delicious cob bread! What a treat; beautiful unspoilt village, all rooms overlooked the sheep and fields, high pressure shower, comfortable bed, pretty sitting room, very cosy, and the thoughtfulness in making our stay as easy and beautiful as possible.
