Luxury countryside stay - Waters Upton, Telford

The apartment was nice with comfy sofa and bed. Lovely kitchen area and as there was a heatwave, fans had been supplied. Nice hot shower and 2 big screen TV's. Location was great for us, only 15 minute drive from what we had planned for the next day.Car park was secure and communication from the host was excellent. Village shop next door selling all essentials.

The access door, lobby and stairs weren't great and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There were no bowls to eat out of in the kitchen and no blind up at the bathroom window.

Plenty of space, location for our needs, secure parking. Good communication via messages. Indian restaurant.

Access- handrail on steep stairs. Step into apartment needs a half step. Apartment seems to be a work in progress. Plaster dust on skirting boards. Areas missing paint. No blind in bathroom. No anti- slip mat or handrail. Other people’s products left including ?food tightly wrapped in cling film in fridge. Pedestrians cannot exit car park as don’t activate sensor.

It was where we needed to be for an event. Car safe in locked yard

No wardrobes. Take your own towels.

Lovely and spacious flat, comfortable bed and sofa. Great views. Village shop next door. Indian restaurant downstairs 😋 newly decorated. Nice bathroom with towels provided. Parking available at the side of the property with electric gates. In a pretty village. Nice to have a fridge too. There were some cleaning things available. I would definitely recommend this flat. It is handy to get to Ironbridge and Bescobel, an English heritage property and Telford. . Other amenities nearby such as a petrol station Greggs and Costa, a co op and Toby Carvery. It was at an affordable and reasonable price

Just a few little niggles- no plug in the wash hand basin or in the kitchen sink. The installer of the kitchen sink had not completed the sink with a bung for the alternative space for sink tap, so water and dirt could go down there and it also spoils the look of the kitchen. A towel ring is coming off the wall in the bathroom. The toilet flush works but the button cover was broken, so had to make sure it returned after flushing. The amazingly expensive tvs were without instructions so could not actually watch tv.we spent a long time trying to connect it. I could have rung the owner but decided to read my books and do my artwork instead so it was quite pleasant not to just sit and watch rubbish on tv! My husband worked out how to use the microwave but it would have been helpful to have the instructions with it. There was only one breakfast bowl. These are all completely minor fixable issues and would not put me off staying here again.

Gorgeous apartment, clean, spacious as pictured. Good location for telford centre, blists hill and hoo zoo if driving only 15 min. Towels and washing up liquid sponge etc all provided. Smart tellys in living room bedroom with netflix etc. Wifi codes provided. Helpful hosts with all info we needed.

Was unable to get central heating working but there was fan heated which heated rooms so quickly. Lock on main front door was broke but second door to apartment locked ok. Microwave didnt work.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. It was a cold day but the heating kept the whole place warm. There is lots of parking well away from the main road and Indian restaurant below was super and the newsagents next door had plenty of basic food items. All in all excellent.
