Luxury countryside stay - Waters Upton, Telford

Great bed, very comfortable, nicely decorated

The hallway leading to the flat was very scruffy, with threadbare carpets, dirty paintwork, damaged doors, and not inviting at all. The flat had a door leading to the main flat door, but the handle was broken. The wi-fi on the first night was bad, the signal kept dropping off. The 2nd night there was no wi-fi connection the password was incorrect !! There is no blind or window covering in the bathroom, and although the window was frosted there was no privacy when the bathroom light was on at night. The flat was very cold, the heating was on but not very efficient, however, an electric heater was provided Although the flat was generally clean, the standards were not great, there were hairs in the bath and on the wash hand basin, the bath screen did not look clean

The flat was dirty, mugs were not clean and there was a cut wire dangling from the ceiling, the 'terrace' is no more than a dangerous area, certainly not suitable for children, with a flue churning stuff out. The heating is not central heating (despite appearances in the photographs) but a couple of fan heaters were provided. The key box code was incorrect and we could not connect to the WiFi. The kitchen is poorly equipped and the owners couldn't even provide a reasonable scourer to wash up with. There were makeup marks on a pillow case. The flat was far from being luxurious and definitely not worth the money paid. In fact, we did not stay in the flat because of all of the above and we have received a full refund from Booking.com

The electric blow heaters were awful it was so cold so had to put them on as central heating didn't work. Both had headache and sore throat in morning with the dry heat

Nice, clean and cosy appartment. Good and queit location with plenty of parking space on the back, just 25 mins drive from Shrewsbury city center. I would highly recommend for a group of friends.

the property was great value for money. from first arrival until checkout every thing was perfect. the property was beautiful, luxurious is definitely the right word . the rooms were massive, the furnishings were so comfortable, modern and of a very high standard. even down to the carpeting which was clearly very expensive it was so thick and soft , you could live on the floor! it was immaculate absolutely spotless. the host was lovely and very accommodating. She bent over backwards to make our stay perfect we didn't want to leave! will defo be staying again

Good location, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely food down stairs! Host was great, messaged about early check in and late check out, had quick replies and they were happy to accommodate both!

The apartment was sparkling clean. Very easy to check in. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything on point. Had asked for permission to check in early with no issues at all! Quick responses. I will definitely come back again
