Duplex Studio 3 minute drive from Luton airport

Close to asda, close to airport

The location was great. A 5 min drive to the airport. Bit awkward to get to as have to get a taxi from Luton airport but only about £5.

It was not clean, definitely needed a good scrub in the bathroom especially. It just felt a bit run down and I would not recommend staying for longer than 1 night. Sofa bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable. It needs a refurb.

Location is convenient for getting to Luton Airport

Body covered in bed bug bites following our stay here. Avoid this at all costs. We were moved from the listed place to another property in the centre of town at short notice (the host did not attempt to call until after we were no longer eligible for a refund). Following our stay at this property, my legs and arms were heavily covered in bed bug bites. These marks are still visible nearly two weeks later.

Unfortunately property wasn't available and other one was provided which was as bad you could imagine. Close to town centre but in old estate with dodgy neighbours. Place smelled like old socks and bedbugs were cherry on top of the cake. Got so many bites you cannot imagine but I did find out about them in the morning after only 10h stay.

We didn’t end up staying here. The owner contacted me 3 hours before we arrived changing the address and said there was an electrical problem at the address listed. When we arrived it didn’t look very nice. No lights in hallway and accomadation stank of smoke and not very clean. No toilet roll. We only had about 8 hours till we had to go Luton airport for our flight so thought we would just deal with it. All the bedding was smelly too. Myself and a friend slept in the bed and the other two slept in pull down bed in sitting room. Around 2am we got out of the bed in the bedroom as felt itchy. We squashed a bug. It was full of blood and then realised there was bed bugs. My eye was completely swollen and itching everywhere with hives coming out all over me as a reaction to the bites. We took our flight to Ireland at 9am. Contacted booking.com and reported the issues and was told to contact the owners which we did. He tried to say it was mosquito but explained to him that all 4 of us are cleaners so know it was definitely bed bugs. He did say he was sorry and that he would refund me but he still hasn’t done this. After a couple more hours my friend who slept in the bed with me started to get the same symptoms as me and started feeling unwell. She has anaphalactic shock if she gets bitten so had to contact doctors and get steroids all costing £125.00. The worse thing being that we had trained for months to climb the carrountoohill mountain and she was unable to do it as so ill so all in all the whole cost of the holiday was a waste of money.
