Private Room 1 Near Southmead Hospital

The location was near to the hospital where my husband was admitted. It was more like a home where you can avail the basic necessities

The room was presentable but was not clean enough to my expectations. I have to use wet wipes to clean the floor as it was dusty and dirty. Whoever cleaned the room will see the wet wipes that I used. I have to clean under the lounging chair as I have to move it against the door for safety precautions. Please try and upgrade the locks and the stove was not working. It was good that there was a microwave . A good clean on the far end cupboard , and needing an organiser where you can put cleaning equipment. Thank you for the goods I used like coffee and sugar. Please transfer this to airtight bottles to keep its freshness. I hope this will be addressed. Overall I am just grateful that I had a place where I can rest in the night after a long day caring for my husband.

I just paid for the room , no meals .

It was a good location near the hospital for a short stay. It was very handy that I can checked in late in the night . The room was very cozy and overall very pleasant.

The kitchen hob cooker was not working but there was a microwave available for heating meals. The kitchen was equipped with cutlery, plates , pots etc that you can use.

Close to bus stops, shops, restaurants, hospital is 10 minute walk. Easy check in.

Although check in was easy, no info or directions was given where the actual property is. 1 small toilet/bath for 4 rooms. Beddings looked like they were used and unchanged. Musty smell on room. Towels would have been appreciated.

I liked that it was very close to the hospital. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

When I arrived, the room was freezing cold. It took a few weeks to get it warm. Since I stayed for a month, the room got dirty. Also there were stains on the beddings when I arrived. I asked for another blanket and it had a tomato seed. Then I asked for another set of bedding, they brought it. They were helpful. On my very last day, the police broke in the house and wrecked all the doors. It was a very traumatic experience. Thankfully the host fixed the door of my room that day. Still, I wish that didn’t happen.

I liked that I had my own room, and I liked that the bathroom was cleaned frequently. I stayed for a month so it was hard for me to keep my room clean. The room would be a better option for shorter stays. The staff were helpful.

Shared bathroom was kind of hard sometimes, when the other guests were dirty. The room was very cold in the beginning. The police came and knocked down the doors on my last day, luckily I wasn’t there but it was not a pleasurable experience to come and see my room like that.
