Skylark View, Most Stunning Views over Matlock.

Views were amazing! Very clean an comfortable. Host was very helpful and friendly. Lovely location with everything you need.

The apartment was beautiful with a lovely Christmas tree. The view over Matlock was wonderful, we watched the steam train depart. Great location, and the owners were very welcoming and accommodating.

That we couldn't stay longer

A lovely clean, modern apartment with everything you could want for a long or short stay. Great views, over Matlock and beyond. We stayed in Skylark View and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in this area. The building, Jackson House, has an interesting history once being a 'Hydro' house and military quarters. It's perched near the top of a very steep hill which wasn't a problem for us having a car, but anyone on foot may find walking tough going, especially if coming back up from Matlock center. There's a nice friendly, traditional, little pup just yards along the road called the Thorn Tree and a great fish n chip shop (Wellington St Fish bar) just a little further up the street both worthy of a visit. The area has lots of interesting places to see, Haddon Hall being one we went to, a stunning 900 year old Tudor mansion which should be on everyone's 'to do' list if visiting this part of the UK. Also the town of Bakewell is well worth a look. We really enjoyed our weekend here and look forward to returning next year.

Great location and views, comfy beds and well equipped apartment. Nice and cosy.

Needs a deep clean esp round the bath, and would have been nice to have shampoo/ conditioner provided for our use. Noisy guests in next apartment slamming doors a lot was annoying!

Beautifully appointed, luxurious and like a home away from home. Stunning views - binoculars provided - to really appreciate the location. Lovely little touches, like cookies and chocolate, milk for a cuppa after a long drive. Honestly cannot fault a single thing!

Nothing it was perfect

Beautiful apartment and larger than expected. We all had comfortable sleeps. It is absolutely spotless!! Arrived to an unexpected welcome pack which included chocolate buttons for our granddaughter. Apartment is set in a beautiful location. Host's introduced themselves, they were very friendly. We had a wonderful stay, no complaints.
