We had a great 2 night stay at Skylark View. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, including toiletries, welcome snacks, binoculars and a good selection of games. The location was also perfect for what we wanted. Whilst the road up to the house is quite steep, the views absolutely make it worthwhile and we had no problems with access. We were sad to leave and would love to visit again.

Our accommodation was Beautiful, very clean and tidy. Modern, and very stylishly decorated. Really large & well equipped kitchen, dining & living space. We met the hosts as we arrived (only as they were entering their apartment) who were very friendly and just covered over all amenities. We received tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits & chocolate on arrival and some bottled water. Which we thought was most considerate. We found the beds were comfortable. This property is about 15 min walk, into town is downhill the walk uphill is slightly longer, you will burn a few calories for sure and maybe get a little breathless. Taxis are plentiful from Matlock Town & Bath. All in all a very enjoyable stay and will definitely recommend to everyone.
