GBModern, well designed. Welcome basket was a nice touch. Bedding and towels were clean. Well informed about keys and access and quick to apologise for issues we had.
WiFi and Tv didn’t work throughout the stay. Poor drainage to bathroom sink. Despite asking if property was accessible there was a step to get into the property and access from the drive was through a heavy door and there was a long walk to the property.

GBLocation was a good for travel on the way to London and it was easy to find.
On arrival, it was clear the property was run down, from broken fence panels, overgrown unusable garden full of weeds and overgrown grass, with old tins of paint and a broken clothes rack etc piled up under the pergola. On entering the property there was a bad smell, a general unclean scent mixed with drains. There were spiders and cobwebs in all corners of every room. Stained carpets, a loose socket in the kitchen, a curtain pole falling off, a wardrobe door barely attached. It was clear that basic maintenance and cleanliness had been neglected. We could write more but want to be fair. We let the owner know and sent photos, as he requested. He did refund us for the second night that we chose not to stay for, which we appreciated; but he refund the night that we reluctantly stayed for. He said he’d take our comments on board. So hopefully improvements will follow, but as it stands, we would not recommend staying here.
GBGBIt was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The toilet flush needed fixing a couple of times during our stay, which fortunately we could do. The door only had a nail to pull to close which was difficult. There was a hot tub in the property, which randomly turned on and off at times. The lights that were on would sometimes flicker when another light was switched on.
GBThe property was lovely and clean. Although the drains in the bathroom do smell. Grass needs cutting and the socket behind the tv is hanging off the wall. Didn't spoil our weekend.
MTSuch a lovely little cottage! The place was incredibly clean, and exactly as described. The owner was very responsive to messages and was super helpful ☺️
GBGBThe property was comfortable and in a lovely quiet location. The only problem that let it down was that we asked for a cot previous to arriving and also if there was an iron. There was no cot or iron unfortunately. The cot did arrive later on the night but it did affect my little boy going for a nap once we arrived. The coffee machine was broken also and there was a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom first thing on a morning . These things did affect our stay but wouldn't stop us from staying again. I would just make sure I had my own cot and iron next time. The rooms are very spacious and it has a lovely little set up .
