BRAND NEW Luxe Two Bedroom Flat! Excellent WiFi

Good location not too far from the City Centre and shops. Great Wifi connection and spacious kitchen/dining/lounge room.

To start with, we couldn’t unlock the front door with the key provided and we were lucky that another person was let into the house by someone living there, shortly after we arrived. Couldn’t reach host via WhatsApp call. Host later replied to a message on booking.com that lock was ‘tricky’. We had real problems throughout our stay and often had to rely on other residents to let us into the front door. Floor was dirty around the kitchen table and the drawers were a little bit grimy. There was no dishwashing liquid supplied, and only two forks (booking was for 4). Host got someone to drop off dishwashing liquid and 8 new forks later. Kitchen utensils were scarce, with no cutting knives or a cutting board, apart from a bread knife. Pots and pans were partly dirty and bent. Bed covers were acrylic. There is no TV in the flat.

Bad experience

1. We could not access the property 2. We were stranded outside being rained on. 3. We were freezing, trying to open a lock box which we had been given a wrong pin. 4. House owners were not reachable on phone 5. Eventually they reached out and offered us an alternative accommodation elsewhere in a dodgy part of town. 6. The house was filthy. 7. Heater in the main bedroom was not working in the alternative accommodation. 8. We were afraid for our lives the whole night especially after that horrible welcome to the property and area.

Nothing

The apartment was dirty: the blankets, towels and sofa looked as if they were not cleaned since their last use. They all had stains and it was unpleasant to deal with that. Moreover, there was fungi growing in the bathroom ceiling. The cutlery and kitchen tools were not only scarce but also dirty. The sofa is supposed to be prepared for 2 people fitting there. However, it was quite small and we were not even provided with sheets or pillows for the people sleeping there. The location was supposed to be great accoding to the comment section but it is quite far away from the city centre. Overall, quite dissappointing and overpriced.
