Little Gem on Bridgnorth's Cartway. River Views

Absolutely wonderful cottage we always enjoy our stay here. Breakfast was lovely.

A very comfortable little cottage. Superb views over the River Severn. The owners provided everything required, including a supply of tea and coffee, along with milk and even some breakfast cereals!

Stairs were tricky as spiral stairs and extremely narrow. I had to come down backwards.

Annie got in touch to ask us what we'd like for breakfast and what milk we wanted. There were other thoughtful additions to the breakfast/snack basket as well as plenty of tea and coffee. She made suggestions for great places to eat - all of which were spot on. We liked being able to rent a private parking space somewhere off the beaten track as parking can be difficult to find at times (like so many other places). Everything inside looks like new and it's spotlessly clean, airy, bright, and cosy. The view over the river valley from the little garden was spectacular.

It was a bit difficult to work out the one way system in the area to get to the cottage but that might have been our satnav! Other than than, I can't fault the cottage itself.

lovely little cottage tucked away just off the High St.Easy to find and owners were so helpful beforehand.The inside was so well laid out for a small cottage but had everything we needed.The kitchen was well equipped and the extra little touches such as fresh eggs,bread and orange juice were gratefully received and we bought sausage and bacon from a local butcher and had a delicious breakfast.The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great deep bath,ideal for a soak after a full day exploring the Shropshire countryside.There is a little garden/yard overlooking the river,ideal to sit out and have a drink or tea on a warmer day

Brilliant location, just off the high street. Very quick walk to pub/car. Good quality of decorations and fittings. Very handy Welcome hamper and the supply of shampoo and shower gel much appreciated. Communication with Annie (host) very easy and prompt.

Nothing to dislike. Waterproof cushions for the garden bench would be a useful addition, but I’m finding things to mention.

What a beautiful little cottage, highly recommend this quaint cottage. Lovely views over the river Severn. At night time we saw lots of bats flying about. Very clean and welcoming on our arrival. Owners were very helpful when suggesting places to eat and drink. Would visit again!

Be mindful of Fri and Sat nights, there is foot fall directly pass the cottage of people returning home after a night out which did disturb our nights sleep.

It was beautiful. Everything had been well thought out with guests in mind.
