A beautiful and cosy cottage. A wonderful welcome pack with plenty of wood for the fire from the owners. Dog friendly, at an extra cost. Lots of recommendations of where to eat and drink. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a much needed change of scenery.

Nothing.

"Lovely little cottage in a great location for exploring Bridgnorth."

8.0

Location was excellent - perfect for exploring Bridgnorth and surrounding area. The place was clean and tidy, and facilities adequate - certainly suitable for the size of property. Nice views from the garden and some great pubs within walking distance. Surprisingly quiet at night, given the location, even on Friday/Saturday night! Lots of local information available within the property, with suggestions. The dog extra's were a nice touch (the dog treats were especially welcome by our dog), as were the eggs/bread etc. for us! Having a parking space (about 5 mins away) to leave the car was very useful - after dropping off the bags on the Friday evening, we left it there until loading on Sunday morning. Nice to be able to put it somewhere and forget about it.

The additional costs for parking space, dog, logs etc. - all adds up to make it more expensive that it originally was when booking. Yes, the parking and cost for a dog were known about prior to arrival but the logs were something I would have hoped would have been included. There were also a lot of 'notes' about how costly things are etc. - as home owners (although only one, we don't have multiple) we know that but when going away for a break, we want to try and forget about it - and please don't tarnish everyone with the same brush (just because someone tried to steal your logs, it doesn't mean others will). Also, putting the smart meter on the side in full view of the settee seemed to be another hint on costs. Appreciate the additional costs of cleaning up after a dog has stayed and there are probably some owners who do not leave the place in a very good state but hopefully we did (especially when we are fastidious about cleaning him after a walk and having a dog which doesn't shed fur). Having been asked about the type of milk we needed (which was a really good question ahead of the stay), and staying for 2 nights, I would have hoped for a little more than 1 little pint - when offering cereal to people as breakfast, a little more would have been appreciated (2 pints probably would've been more appropriate).

"Wonderful cottage, in a great location. Very well appointed, cosy and very comfortable."

10.0

This was our second stay at this wonderful old cottage. It has so much character, and the location is excellent. The owner has literally thought of EVERYTHING!! So much is provided, and the welcome basket was fab (all vegan; as we had requested). The weather was freezing during our stay, but the log-burner made the cottage really cosy. The owner is always quick to respond to any queries, and very friendly. We'll definitely be staying again next year.

Nothing that I can think of.

"Lovely welcoming cottage in between high town and low town. Ideal for a couple with no mobility issues. Everything you c"

Lovely personal touches, welcome hamper was a great touch. Centrally located. Comfy bed and very well equipped cottage.

Really high bath to access the shower, Quite cold whenever the heating wasn’t on. Need to be aware that as lovely as the cottage is if you have any mobility issues then this is not the place for you

"Perfect Christmas hideaway."

10.0

Clean, cosy and comfortable. The perfect little hideaway for our peaceful Christmas break. Really loved the extra touches, such as the festive treats in the welcome hamper and the way the cottage had been decorated for the season. Very close to pubs and shops, but Little Gem feels secluded at the same time. Annie’s communications were great and we knew exactly where to find the pre-booked parking space thanks to clear directions. We loved our stay.

Nothing.
