The flat is modern and spacious and has a lot of light. There is a balcony which gets the sun in the morning. I liked the location because it's close to Midsommer Common and the river, which is great for a run/walk. It is however a bit out of the way for the city centre, but nice and quiet. I could leave my bike inside (there was also a bike storage, but I didn't have/receive a key). Very thoughtful welcome basket with little jars of jam, bread, pasta & sauce and milk and butter in the fridge.

There are some clear signs of wear & tear, with stains on walls inside the flat and on the carpet in the staircase. Limescale on the kitchen tap made it look a bit grimy. The TV remote control was too sticky to handle. The lock on the door was loose and required some skill to get open. The balcony door wouldn't lock - the host said there was nothing to worry about in terms of safety, but even though I expressed my concern it wasn't fixed during my stay (to be fair, nothing ontoward happened). The cutlery was so cheap that the forks bent during use. No coffee machine and no microwave. It's a shame, because it's a very lovely space so with a bit more attention to detail this could be a very nice location.
