Luxury 2 bed Apartment in historic Royal William Yard

I travelled to Plymouth to co-write a screenplay with a friend, as well as socialise, and it was an amazing week. Well worth the 7-hour train journey. Great places and people. The accommodation was perfect and the location. Highly recommended.

Spotless and in a great location. Nespesso was a lovely touch(plenty of pods too) very well equipped, plenty of fans and the bistro Pierre was a great place to eat out only across the way. Will definitely be back .

Blinds need to be thicker to block out a little more morning sun

Configuration, location and amenities.

Lack of bin bags. Maybe this was an omission, but this meant using Carrier bags in the absence of anything else. We did look.

Interessante gute Lage in einem historischen Gebäude mit allem was man benötigt in direkter Nähe. Moderne Ausstattung zum Wohlfühlen. Super Ausblick aus den Fenstern in beide Richtungen. Super Restaurants für jeden Geschmack ein paar Schritte aus dem Haus entfernt. Frühstücksbagel und Kaffee 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The location quiet and easygoing

No mention of it being over two floors.. shower room very hot.. Very little toilet paper when we arrived likewise shower gel and shampoo nearly empty Needs darker blinds very light in the early morning areas of the apartment looking tired and in need of attention

The location is truly unbeatable. Set within the historic Royal William Yard, the area has a unique charm with its waterfront views, beautiful architecture, and a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and bars just steps away. Everything was clean, well-organised, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of space to relax, work, or simply enjoy a quiet evening in. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They were friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout my stay, making sure I had all the information I needed without being overbearing. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

One small downside worth mentioning: the upstairs bathroom lacked a proper holder for the showerhead. Second – and this may not be a concern year-round – the flat did not have air conditioning. Normally, this might not matter in the UK climate, but during my stay the weather was unexpectedly tropical, and the apartment became quite warm. Considering the price range, having the option to cool the space down would have been a welcome feature, especially as climate patterns continue to shift.
