Stunning Sea View Whole Home In Torbay Close To Beach

The property is large and bright. We had everything we needed for a short stay and I can tell the owners have listened to previous feedback to include utensils in the kitchen etc. The location is remote, it was mostly quiet apart from some work going on at the site, but this only happened during the day.

No real criticism of the actual property, however the ongoing renovations were noisy at times and workers on top of work vans meant they were basically at the height of our windows. It is mentioned that the route to the beach is a steep hill but it doesn't quite prepare you for the reality! Location is not for the faint of heart if you plan on walking anywhere!

The view was beautiful and it was in a quiet location when coming back from a long day 🙂 tea and coffee for us when we arrived, welcome information was good only thing we had to contact someone about was what time the heating came on (although it was June the nights are still very cold)

The beds were a little uncomfortable (firm mattress) there were cobwebs on the Celing where the skylines are, there is a £100 cleaning fee which we feel is a bit much, the tv had no normal channels on it only the smart channels ie bbc player, itv x ect

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Great facilities and spotless! Our elderly parents loved the huge TV. I loved the dishwasher! Was very comfortable and had everything we needed!

It rained on the Monday, which was a shame as weather perfect apart from then. If you could guarantee sunshine next time, that would be fab!

The property has been modernised recently and was well presented and clean. The kitchen had all mod cons including dishwasher and washing machine. The beds and sofas were comfortable and there was a huge TV. The walk to the local beaches was about half an hour but there was a steep incline which was challenging to most walkers. The view was lovely.

The heating system was complicated, seemingly on a remote timer which meant that if we were cold,outside of the timed period, we could not turn on the heating to keep warm. This is an issue if staying out of summer season. It would have been better if washing up liquid and T towel were provided so cups and glasses could be washed on an ongoing basis rather than relying on the dishwasher. A cafetière and tea pot would have been nice. The on suite bathrooms were incredibly small and presents a problem for large adults. Some information about bus times and taxis into Torquay would have been helpful as we went into town in the evening only to find the last bus back was at 7pm.

Not that clean and kitchen cabinets were not opening properly. Also in front of the house there were campers/building works.

The property inside was lovely. Very clean and had everything you could need.

We didn’t enjoy the outside area as it was next to a derelict building which wasn’t mentioned in the description. We also had construction work happening during our stay at the neighbouring field which was very noisy at times.

I loved how well maintained it was. It had the required amenities: Made it a comfortable weekend stay.

The only thing I can pick out is the location in The sense that it was a little far off from The hustle bustle. But for those looking fir a quiet getaway it’s the perfect spot.

We were blown away by this property . The location was fantastic with sea views from the lounge and great walks around coastline . The property is finished to a high standard of luxury and has everything and more to have a cosy night away . Our hosts were quick to respond when needed making our stay very relaxing .

Nothing we would return again

Beautiful sea views and very comfortable accommodation. Kitchen was well kitted out plenty of cutlery, cups, glasses and cooking utensils . Books to read and games to use.

Just a little difficult to find initially. Lack of space when opening Shower doors would be better fitted with concertina doors in 2 en suites opposed to push/pull.
