Spa Residence Carbona Hévíz - Relax, Sissi Apartmanok

We rented out an apartment from a hotel that is connected to hotel itself l, and I can say it was extremely well equipped, modern, and it was very clean. Private garage that worked out in apartment favour due to extreme heat when we was leaving the car was cooler then hotel guest cars staying out in car park. The breakfast and dinner were good, and there were a lot of choices.Hotel spa and wellness were very nice, and a heviz lake is 15 min walking distance. There is no need to drive anywhere due to a great hotel location. Staff was extremely polite, with 1 person exception in restorant.

1 particular restaurant staff member who you can clearly see that has no clue in hospitality and evidently gives out signs that he doesn't even want to work there. But the rest of the staff are extremely professional and polite.

The apartment had everything we needed and more . Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Convenient access to spa facilities while staying away from hotel guests. Personal care from the owner when needed.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel during our trip so we could get away from the city (we will be in big cities for most of our 3 week family vacation to Europe). It was a splurge at $575.00 per night, but it included both breakfast and dinner. This is in a small town with the thermal lake, which was nice, but overrated. The apartment itself was nice enough. Two bedrooms and a kitchen. One full bathroom and half bathroom. The view was just a street view of some shops , but you are on the second floor so nothing special. We were going to arrive after 9pm, and the owner of the unit called so that they could have a cold plate in the unit for us when we arrived, which was nice. Now, let’s get into the issues we had at this hotel, and why we would never recommend it to anyone, let alone EVER stay here again. The issues started when we went to check in. We showed up (at around 10:15 as discussed) and I proceeded to the red front desk while my wife waited in the car as our kids were sleeping. The gentleman at the front appeared after 5 minutes, and produced a package with some papers, a key fob and four key cards. He looked at the key fob and said “this opens a door, but not sure which one” and “these key cards probably open the door, and you might have to insert a card for the power to turn on, but I’m not sure.” He seemed to not know anything about this hotel, and after he handed me all the keys that he was not sure what they opened, he said the condo is “that way” and motioned in the direction of the condos down a long dark corridor. He said if you can’t find it, come back. I asked him where to park and he said “anywhere.” This property is huge and very confusingly laid out. I started walking down the hallway, but is seemed like somewhere I should not be because there were offices and treatment rooms for spa services. So I walked outside to see if I could see if there were unit numbers.
