We travelled to Jacobs retreat as a family of four and were extremely impressed when we arrived at how lovely and clean the caravan was, it was very well equipped and had everything and more that you could think of! the outdoor space is fantastic! We haven’t stayed in a caravan with this much outdoor space before and it meant our two children could play outside, added bonus was the picnic table outside we sat and made s’mores and played games! 😊 Amy the host was incredible she replied quickly to an email I had sent nothing was too much trouble! Wi-Fi wasn’t great but this is to be expected with caravans, I believe when booking a caravan Being together as a family is what a getaway is all about and actually no Wi-Fi is a huge positive!! we have all enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much

Property is spacious, clean and well situated. Very close distance to the beach.

The living room area was ok, The hob was ok.The bedroom was tidy but the bedding wasn’t good.

Firstly the pots were left on the draining board. The sink in the toilet was very dirty down the plug hole. Loads of black dirt bubbled up, it needs unblocking. Around the taps & tiles need cleaning properly. The windows outside had streaks of bird mess. It was stuck on, I tried to get it off because it was in sight. The area outside was unkempt. Dead plants, grass overgrown, very untidy. In my opinion not a retreat as it suggested.Even the bedding & pillows need replacing in the double bed. Quality of bedding is poor. On the plus side the bedroom was tidy. I didn’t use the other bedrooms. I have photos but I don’t want to put them on until I can chat with the host.

Lovely caravan, very homely and just as expected. Great location. Lots to do in the area, all easily accessible.

There were a few too many air fresheners which was a bit overwhelming! It would also have been good to have a heads up that toilet paper wasn’t provided!

Clean and comfortable, perfect for our short getaway. Dog friendly and only a further short walk once at the beach to the dog friendly beach area. Ample parking for two cars with easy access. Good facilities onsite.
