Central Birmingham City Apartment -Smart TV - Free Parking onsite

This property was not up to a good standard. I did not stay there and re booked elsewhere. The building and apartment was discussing, dirty with rubbish everywhere. No instructions on how to get in and out of the car park with car, hence my vehicle was trapped there. I had to walk to my new accommodation at night which made me feel vulnerable. Someone answered the emergency phone number and cut it off. No response to the answer phone. I eventually had a message late morning the next day asking if i had retrieved my vehicle but not how to get one's car out. Inside the accommodation was tired, mould around the bathroom, grim all around the bedroom carpet which had seen better days. The wooden flooring is blown in places as was the kitchen units. Yellow ceilings ect. I have a catalogue of photos that i can share with booking.com. This building is primarily used for social housing and the people there just throw litter everywhere inside and out. There is no pride from the residents within their living environment. It looks like there is no contract cleaners because the mess was ingrained. Words cannot describe this place. It was certainly not what i expected as the building isn't very old. Best avoided is my opinion. Why when people who don't own their buildings treat them like this is beyond me. Being clean and tidy doesn't cost a penny.

This is a very good area of Birmingham, the area was proper quiet and nice to sleep at night. The peroperty itself is wonderful, there was no smell but freshness, the bed was huge, can easily sleep three people if needed to be. Shower was excellent, nice strong output from the showerhead with an easy adjustable settings. It has got everything that was needed. The host communication was excellent as soon as arriving into the area, messaged him/her regarding on how to access the car park entrance,. The host did provide information on the confirmation booking regarding boosting the hotwater for the shower but it was already on when I arrived so didn't need to do this. The property has got a working lift from the building's car park, very handy when carrying heavy luggages.

These are my opinion that I can suggest that might need clarifying for future guests. Arriving into the area with a car, the host should've clarified that we cannot park straight into the building's carpark straight away without accessing the building first to collect the key for the fob, it wasn't a huge problem but it would help with the confusion on how to access it. There isn't a kitchen bin, again this is not a problem for us but some people might be expecting for a property to have it there. Inspite those things we would happily come back to this property without a doubt when we're in the area, as the host replies quickly with any query.

I didnt like.....Friday was told they wanted to cancel,saturday was given instructions how to get in.Allocated parking was taken! No keys to get in,called number,eventually someone will be with you within hour!! Sat in lobby waiting.get let in,hadnt been cleaned from last client!!! He went off to get new bedding,left suitcase as too late to get anywhere else and had paid.... he will send new key code to get in,he DID NOT!! again rang number,she ignored my calls,my partner rang,she answered.still filthy,broken glass on floor,truly truly awful!!!! Lack of communication. Disgusting service!!!

It wasn't really like that
