Captain's Nook, Luxurious Victorian Apartment with Four Poster Bed and Private Parking only 8 minutes walk to the Historic Harbour

We had a lovely weekend at the Captain’s Nook. The apartment was fabulous, perfectly equipped and interestingly decorated, Loved the walk in shower and roll top bath. Great location close to the town centre and harbour. Lots of great walks and places to eat .Go to the Olive restaurant on the harbour side, outstanding small plates menu!

Nothing at all to dislike

Fantastic location for the Town. Spacious bedroom, good size living room / kitchen with all the facilities you need including a washing machine & fridge freezer. The bathroom is the most luxurious room of the property with a walk in shower, roll top bath & a traditional looking vertical radiator. On arrival there was a complimentary hamper with a bottle of bubbly & a luxury bag of crisps. I could go on, but I would highly recommend the Captain’s Nook for a comfortable & relaxing stay. Our host Karen should be proud to run such a beautiful property, Thank you !

Location was perfect, parking was a bonus. The apartment was meticulously cared for and the hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating.

Location was great

The location of Captain's Nook is excellent for walking into Brixham town centre & also has its own private parking space, which is very useful. It's a lovely apartment attached to a Victorian house. Beautifully decorated with very tasteful fittings. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It's small, only suitable for two, but has everything needed for a short stay. The hosts had also left a bottle of prosecco & crisps...what's not to like!

Nothing - apart form the walk up the steep hill...but that was good exercise!

Bedroom got very stuffy as you have no windows to open due to its geography in the house. This would obviously be worse if the sun was to ever come out for a long period of time.

The apartment was new and clean with a good bath & shower close to Brixham harbour, had a bonus of a veranda at front of property, sadly couldn't see the sea as the tree across the road was in full bloom blocking the view 😔

Car Parking Area very untidy, Approach to Captains Nook untidy not welcoming! Definitely not Luxurious Sofa very uncomfortable as is the whole place lots of unfinished projects skirting board hanging off, Garden Metal table and chairs in living area I don't call this quirky! Superficially appeared clean but top of four poster bed thick dust as was designated clothing areas, Air fresheners every where even in so called wardrobe. Very depressing! Tried to speak to owners who had just gone into house but no response after five knocks.
