Beautiful location and studio. Clean, comfortable, thoughtful, and it had everything we needed. Very close to Volcano National park. Loved the custom touches by Steve to welcome guests.

"Absolutely beautiful gem right next to the Volcano National Park"

This was a perfect base for the Volcano National Park. Loved the lush jungle surroundings - it was so beautiful everywhere you looked. Our bungalow was so comfortable - plenty of space, cozy bed and blankets, and quiet and peaceful. Our host even left a fresh bag of Kona coffee and delicious local snacks. We loved our stay!

This area is a little less traveled so there a few restaurants/coffee shops but they close early. Just something to note.

A spacious studio nestled in the Volcano rainforest. It was extremely attractive and thoughtfully appointed. There were extras like coffee, macadamia nuts, flowers, and chocolate. The host was helpful but not intrusive.

"A perfect, absolutely lovely stay in the cloud forest of Volcano."

Gorgeous cloud forest surroundings with amazing garden and lanai. Birdsong all day and frog song in the night, always sounds magical. The view of the forest and garden from inside and out on the lanai is absolutely lovely. Beautiful interior, lovely decor with really thoughtful touches to provide everything needed (and more) for a comfortable stay. Very comfortable bed! Soft cushy towels and very nice linens. Spotlessly clean. Just lovely and cozy and comfortable in every way. Superb location for visiting the Volcanoes National Park, plus easy access to the Hilo area. If you love nature and the outdoors, this place is for you. Steve is a wonderful host, kind and helpful.

There is absolutely nothing that one could complain about. You’re in a cloud forest, so be aware that it rains a lot here. If you are expecting all sunshine and warm weather, stay on the other side of the Big Island!
