The property was perfect! Plenty of space, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy.

The location

A quiet getaway in the Welsh countryside which was excellent to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was extremely charming, cosy, and comfortable. Even with wet, cold weather, we were warm and cosy inside with the log burner roaring. The hosts were extremely friendly providing an excellent list of places to explore nearby, provided a lovely welcome hamper, and nothing was too much trouble which made it effortless. As a dog parent, it was also re-assuring to have a fully enclosed location so she could run off the lead without escaping. And finally, the hot tub was the icing on the cake and very much enjoyed throughout the weekend.

I don't know where to begin. The Bach was absolutely outstanding. Bryn met us upon arrival, he was so lovely and kind and we felt immediately relaxed. It was my 40th birthday weekend and Bryn put up Happy Birthday bunting and bought us a bottle of prosecco, my absolutely fave! This was such a special touch on top of the beautiful welcome basket filled with local delights. Everything was spotless and the Bach is finished to the highest of standards. I love the wooden hearts around the chocolate on our bedding, this was a special touch. We didn't go out too much as the Bach was so amazing, we didn't want to leave. There are games, books, cards, everything you could think of. We made plenty of use of the private hot tub and sauna. There are lovely places to sit out around the lodge and take in the spectacular views. We went for a meal at The Raven Inn which we highly recommend. The homemade pie and nachos were incredible. If you want a quiet and idyllic stay with luxurious fixture and fittings, look no further and book. Bryn also provided loads of information via WhatsApp which was the best info I've ever received. Thank you so much Bryn for making my 40th one I'll never forget. We can't wait to come back.

The lodge was completely secluded, amazing views, enclosed so the dogs could roam around freely. Clean and spacious and we had some lovely local treats left on the table upon arrival. Hosts were lovely and accommodating at all times.
