Look No Further The Stable Block in Beautiful Beaufort House 2 Bedrooms

The house is ideally located for walking in to the city centre along the road or joining the canal path. The bus stop into the city centre is very close by. The free parking in the driveway was a real bonus as it's not cheap to park in Bath. The garden is beautiful and quiet despite the main road and we enjoyed relaxing there. The beds are super comfy. The equipment and furnishings are all new. The house was clean and tidy. Communication was easy with Archie, the managing agent.

The waste water from the basin in the bathroom didn't flow away very well and we've emailed Archie, the agent, about this so I'm sure it'll be addressed. It would have been helpful to have washing up liquid, a dishcloth and a new scourer in the kitchen.

The location was good and to have a parking space was good. The beds were comfy.

When we arrived the place smelt of drains and damp. The heating was not working (we followed the instructions in the video but it didn't work) we contacted the owner and he eventually sent us another video in how to re pressure the boiler which we had to do ourselves, this did then get the heating working. The smell of drains was coming from the sink in the bathroom which was blocked and took ages for the water to drain away. The TV in the property has no free to view channels available so you need to have your own accounts to stream from your phone, if you don't have these there is no TV. The lounge area is really small and the seating is limited and very uncomfortable. The kitchen space is tiny and the oven is so close to the door frame that it only opens slightly making it very difficult to get anything in or out of the oven. Also a couple of days before we arrived the owner sent us a message about some wallpaper pealing slightly in the front bedroom, when we got there is was more than just a little pealing, it was damp down the chimney breast which was making a long line of paper and paint lift and peal off the wall, most unsightly.

The location of the property was excellent, right on the bus route into Bath. The accomodation was a period properly with some beautiful traditional features. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had been updated recently and we're lovely. Archie was great to deal with and communication was excellent.

There were patches of damp in the property. This is difficult to avoid given the age of the property. I am sure that this will be addressed prior to the next visitor.

great space, comfortable beds, central location easy to walk into Bath and/or use buses. Nice quiet location with parking.

The property was easy to access, clean, and was big enough for my family.

We loved staying here. Instructions were easy to follow and Archie was great in contacting us to ensure that everything was OK with our arrival and departure. The property felt like a town house, set over 2 floors. Both bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were spacious with good showers. We also loved the large Smart TV! The property was also well located, with buses directly in front, and a large Morrison's grocery store 5 mins walk down the road. Off-street parking was also a bonus. We just left our car and enjoyed everything Bath and the local area had to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Archie had excellent visual instructions on how to find the property and how to get in, an was very quick to reply to queries. The property was close to Bath centre, within walking distance, and has free parking.

Property needs a spring clean and in places repairs (eg paint falling off wall in main bdroom). The oven door didnt open very far, which is probably why it hadnt been cleaned. Some lights were not working. Freezer compartment was iced up. At least one pot not induction-hob compatable

Great location near centre of Bath and nearby supermarket for supplies. Brilliant to have free parking for one car. Helpful video provided prior to arrival as entrance to drive hard to spot otherwise. Quirky historic property. Spacious bedrooms. Good size tv in snug area. Helpful communication. Lovely shower in downstairs bathroom. Great to have 2 decent sized bathrooms.

Some washing up liquid and a cloth would have been helpful (strange as some odds and ends of shower gels and hand soaps were provided/or left in bathrooms?!?). Also couldn’t find the broom so ended up vacuuming after meals (with 2 small kids the floor needs a sweep after every meal!) Bit of a damp smell upstairs and wall paper peeling in main bedroom and noticed a few holes in carpet but otherwise clean.
