Very nice and helpful host. We needed a little salt and she lent us some. Great location. 10-15 minutes walking to the center. Very safe and local area. Easy walk to tons of cafes and restaurants. The place was very clean. The host helped us with everything we needed.

The place is on a road and you will hear car and motorbike noise day and night. The 2 windows/doors open up directly onto the road, so it's not very pleasant to have these open. The sun is on the other side of the apartment (with no windows), so the place kind of has a "dungeony" feel to it with a lack of natural light. Make sure you look at the listing closely, as there are pictures from both apartments in the listing, but only one has the beautiful balcony shown. I thought I was getting the place with the balcony but it turned out I got the other one, which is much, much worse. If I had known this I would have just paid more for the place with the balcony.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing, if you've traveled in Mexico you wil understand. The place was HUGE, very clean and the kitchen was well equipped even with a kettle 🙏.

Laura and Laura made my stay in Oaxaca. They were both amazing hosts. The room was perfect for my needs. Easy short stroll into town.

We stayed in the apartment with the terrace and it was lovely! The apartment had a nice kitchen with nice appliances, and there was plenty of space for both of us to sit with out laptops. The terrace was lovely and there were plenty of seating options available. The bed was big and comfy and the bedroom had lots of closet space. The area is lovely and close to everything! A big market with lots of restaurants and fruit stalls, a grocery store and lots of small restaurants. It is also really easy to walk into town, or hail a cab in the street if you don't feel like walking. The internet speed was great and the connection was reliable. The owner has an office in the building where she works, so it was easy to speak to her if we ever needed anything. The area is also very safe and I felt comfortable walking alone in the street at night.

Because the cleaner could only come during weekdays, and my partner was working full time that week and needed to be available for meetings etc, we could not have the place cleaned during our stay. However, that did not really matter!
