Pent house con terraza o departamento con balcón en el centro de oaxaca

We arrived quite late around 11pm and luckily there is a delicious tlayuda place called Tlayudas el Negro about a three minute walk from the apartment, which we were grateful for because it was raining hard and we were starving after a long day of traveling. The location was walking distance to Mercado de la Merced, which we enjoyed walking to for breakfast. It was about a 20 minute walk to the zocalo and more touristy areas, and we enjoyed the walk since it provided nice views of the local neighborhoods. The apartment was quiet and had a lovely balcony that we got to enjoy when it stopped raining.

The doors were a bit tricky to open and took a while to unlock which was unfortunate when it was raining hard.The blankets were a bit thin, and we had to use our beach towels as extra blankets because with the AC on it was too cold to sleep only with the think blanket provided or too warm if we left the AC off.

The room is very well organized, near downtown.

Doesn’t have air conditioning and the one they provide is not enough for the heat you feel inside the room at day or night time.

The host helped us with a lot of questions! Thanks for that! The view is incredible!

The stay was too short.

ANTS and cockeroaches. If you like insects, it's a good place. Also, the one eating table is about 4 ft off the ground which is weird for smaller people. The tall stools provided were unstable and one of us took a tumble.

Very nice studio apartment with kitchen, had everything we needed. Close to the market so we bought food and cooked quite a bit rather than having to go out for every meal. We stayed there a week, walked everywhere and had a great time. Very helpful, responsive host.

The central location meant it was extremely loud at night - traffic, car alarms, barking dogs, etc. Host provided earplugs, which were needed to sleep at night. The water pressure was very low, especially in the shower. For whatever reason the bathroom sink water pressure was better, so we ran the hot water there until the pipes heated up, then we were able to get hot water to the shower.
