LITTLE BLUE HOUSE - Cottage with Seaview near the Lake District National Park

Great location, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very cosy and comfortable and great views out the back of the property.

The 5-6 am traffic heading to Sellafield for the day shift was very noisy and woke us up. Minor issue with the toaster not working but used the grill so all ok. Some people might struggle without a tv but we loved the interesting variety of books.

Great view over the sea and golf course. Ample garden. Dog friendly.

On street parking required partial parking on pavement.

Stayed at the LBH for four nights, the house is in a great location on St Bees Main Street which is a quick walk to the local hotels, bars, train station and the wonderful beach. The LBH was comfortable and had all the amenities for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, the views from the kitchen and garden are stunning, perfect place to sit and relax. Good clear communication from owner before and during the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at LBH, the only things that stopped me applying a higher rating was, no handrail on the stairs and the key lock box is located very low down near the entrance step, which means stooping low and I found it tricky to see the combination codes, however, I did get it open, but this could be an issue for people with mobility/back issues.

Fantastic time in little blue house cottage great walks with the dogs would recommend.

Only thing we didn't like at the end of the garden the wall is very low with a rather big drop so was worried about the dogs going over.

De locatie was fantastisch en dan met name het uitzicht vanaf de eettafel en terras!
