The restaurant was exceptional with wonderful food and charming staff

The room was very basic with only a couple of sheets of toilet paper provided, very uncomfortable pillows and inadequate blinds in the bathroom

Location ideal. Car parking nearby. Clean

Steep stairs- guests should be advised they’re steep when booking . My husband had so was difficult . Noisy pipes kept us awake . Didn’t manage to sleep properly whilst there .Shower was electric- poor pressure and the hot water kept going cold even when we pulled the cord as advised. Communication was only on message - poor response had to go into the restaurant for more hangars(only 3 for 2 people and 2 nights!) Only 1 roll toilet paper . Very poor for the price. We stay at lots of booking.com properties …this was not one we’d return to …

The location was ideal for us as we are frequent visitors as need to visit a family member

Would have preferred a set of towels each for our booking for two people. We had to share one hand towel and one bath sheet until we mentioned the lack of towels to the the helpful staff down stairs.

Location was so pretty ..little village setting with lots of places to eat and drink ..10 to 15 min drive into Brighton Nice rooms ..basic but clean with a great selection of tea and coffee..juice also plus porridge! Lovely view from back bedroom across rolling countryside Easy access with key codes

Shower is electric so not a good flow A little noisy if bedroom is overlooking road but that's during the day ..quite in the late evenings The bedrooms are above a pub ..so be prepared for restaurant noise ..guests while entering and leaving the restaurant and staff in kitchen late at night All manageable though and quiet time from 11..00pm noise

Convenient location

Access instructions were unclear resulting in me not being able to access the listing for a number of hours due to the contact phone number I called umpteen times not being answered… After a number of hours of me still unable to enter the property & continuously trying to call the assigned agent, I eventually received a response & apologies for the unacceptable lack of prompt response & was finally resolved

Good location. Nice quiet room.

A few minor issues: The fan in the bathroom wasn’t working. One of the bedside lamps needs attention-there’s a problem with the wall fixing. There was only one toilet roll and no spare.

Location , very clean room and very comfortable bed.
