GBNice modern clean studio apartment close to the centre. Welcoming bright hallway nicely decorated for Christmas. No dedicated parking but a cheap and safe car park at the bus station nearby. Decent sized bedroom, comfortable bed, good bathroom although the shower head is quite low down. Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, downstairs is a reception area/small kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools. As other reviews have noted - there is no where to sit apart from the bar stools -a small sofa or a couple of comfy chairs downstairs would be nice if there was a way to fit them in. The kitchen has an induction hob and oven along with toaster, kettle and microwave plus enough cookware to make full meals. Nice place and a good stopover to the lakes
The fridge has a small freezer section at the top which was completely iced up and therefore unusable. Also quite sparse on the sort of basics most places provide. Coffee, tea and sugar were there but nothing else. The salt cellar was empty and although there was a cloth to wash up with there was no washing up liquid - we had to buy some from the Spar. Two forks and knives provided for eating but one set wasn't full sized for some reason. The kitchen bin was operated by a sensor but as the battery had run out it didn't work and we ended up leaving the lid up permanently. By and large this was a really nice place and kitted out to a high standard so these are fairly minor niggles.
