Very stressed about the constant communication not to use the balcony after 8. We then could not find the light to turn off the balcony but too stressed we would get a fine to go on the balcony after 8.

USThe view was spectacular and the house was very spacious with great amenities. The bath is a single room with traditional shower and bath, but nice large bath for after shower soak.
As with many rural Japanese neighborhoods, no loud noises allowed and all outside activity to be stopped by 2100. Which is a problem as the sauna and hot tub are on the balcony.
GBBeautifully presented house with stunning views over the lake and Mount Fuji. Lots of space, great facilities and very clean.
Found out after booking the jacuzzi bath was not fully working. High level of owner concern and correspondence over avoiding noise issues. Not permitted to use the balcony after 8pm (with large fines stated in the handbook for this or excess noise). Surveillance cameras to monitor this. We were just two adults and one child and were very mindful of this but despite having no windows or doors open we received a late email to say a high level of noise was detected around the house. This was just some brief laughing whilst going down the stairs. We found this excessively intrusive and it did unfortunately affect our enjoyment of the property.
