"A very friendly welcome, although staff were quite scarce."

6.0

The breakfast was amazing. The room, bath and bed were stunning, the location and building were fabulous.Really wanted to tell the manager how much we enjoyed watching the beautiful pigeons whilst sitting in the garden, sad we didn't get to say Thankyou and goodbye.

An idiots guide to regulate the shower temperature as it was way too hot to use, also one for the espresso machine. Some instant coffees too as the espresso coffee was way too strong once we were able to use the machine.

Lovely historic pub inn.

booked breakfast but they had a 'kitchen emergency' so couldn't do hot breakfasts. Recommend having a mini-fridge in the room.

"A gem of a classic country pub with lovely rooms!"

10.0

What a gem! Honestly, I am so glad I booked this lovely pub for a two night stay, wish it had been longer! From the moment I booked the service was impeccable; suggesting I opt for a twin room once they knew I was staying with my daughter, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful food in the evening, and a fantastic breakfast. The room was large, and we stayed in a classic room, so I was expecting smaller, and very comfortable, with a lovely big shower room, the whole room was immaculately clean. A perfect location for a trip to the local centre parks spa, we will definitely be back to stay again, can't praise this lovely place enough!

Nothing! Yes there is some road noise, but to be expected with the convenience of location, and there is secondary glazing, road did not disturb us.

The cooked breakfast was very tasty. Cameron is an excellent chef and cooked a very good pub evening meal for us.

Maybe a few more breakfast pastries.

"Great room and fantastic cooked breakfast."

9.0

The breakfast was lovely. Loved the names of the rooms. The bed was really comfy and the double shower was so roomy. For an old building - "The Bull Inn" had been respectfully restored with all the different stairs and creaky floorboards adding to its charm.

Not so much a dislike but a comment - it was very quiet and very few guests in the bar/restaurant but they may have been hiding in their rooms! Everything else was lovely. I'm sure it will get busier as the season progresses.

This has been one of my best stays in suffolk. From the start of our stay to our departure The staff were very friendly. The service from reception to the bar staff were outstanding. Had a bar snack in the afternoon which was delicious. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Can highly recommend this for a base to tour suffolk..The Bull Inn is a place that I would certainly come back to.
