Warm comfortable rooms. new modern shower. Convenient location to major road and free parking. Nice and helpful staff.

Lack of lift/elevator (my elderly parents were with us). To be fair the person in the desk would have switched the room to a ground floor/outside one if it was needed.

Lovely place, great value for money, delicious home cooked simple pub food, great staff, good location, big room with a big bathroom. Crispy chicken burger with triple cooked chips was fantastic.

The property is stunning, very quirky and rustic. Very big building with lots of space and rooms. Decorated very well and warm and cozy! Also loved the fact it had a smart tv so we could watch Netflix as this isn’t very common.

The shower had some issues leaking at the top and the toilet was very hard to flush. Could have done with 4 pillows on the bed instead of 2 however it didn’t really impact the stay.

Faultless stay for us at The Bull inn. A very friendly greeting at check in. We stayed in the "Clover" room which was lovely. Very high end finish to the room and the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities were well stocked, bed was comfortable, room was warm even in December. The breakfast was perfect too! Will definitely stay again.

History of the building wow Clean spacious friendly warm welcome on arrival. Nice chat with the reception staff before giving clear directions to room. Once in the room perfect cosy comfortable

The location was perfect for what I needed.

The food wasn’t great. I’ve eaten here several times before and it’s always been decent, but on this occasion it really wasn’t great. The low point of my meal were the stone cold mushy peas (clearly hadnt been zapped in the microwave AT ALL) with my fish and chips. They did bring me some freshly zapped ones, but I’d finished most off my meal by the time they arrived. The bed was the HARDEST bed I’ve ever slept in (no exaggeration) and the bedroom location was ‘unfortunate’. Due to being at the very top of the stairs everyone walking up and downstairs has to walk past the room which can be disturbing.

We have been to many hotels up and down the uk this year and this was one of the most pleasant surprises off the year. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating, the manager on shift went out if his way to source us a remote for the tv

Sheets and towels in room were not changed

Recently renovated and clean. The shower was 10/10 in the room we stayed in (Ebony), and the bed was really comfortable - not too hard or too soft. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
