Parkside Lodge - Luxury Coastal Hideaway for Two

We liked how clean it was and the quality of the decor etc

The layout was very odd. Huge kitchen island but no table to eat. Tiny bathroom and small bedroom. These are the two main areas that are the most important. Also huge amount of steps down to lodge.

Location was great even though it is on top of a hill. Facilities were excellent and the parking space was a bonus. We didn't make use of it but the Honesty bar is a good idea and the prices are very reasonable

These are not really things I didn't like just my personal opinion. I think the description on the website should mention the number and steepness of the steps to get to the property as less mobile people might find it difficult to get up and down. I was disappointed with the water pressure in the shower and found it strange that we couldn't turn the heating off when it came on as it is controlled remotely. That being said, I would still come back if I was visiting Brixham again.

We loved everything about this property from the beautiful decor to beautiful sounds of the outside water feature the most comfortable bed and how clean it was, the quick responses we got when ever we had a question no matter how small great communication and very accommodating letting us know it was ready for us before the check in time! Highly recommend we had an amazing time thankyou

Stylish, in good condition and exceptionally peaceful. Nice touches throughout from lovely outdoor space, to lovely toiletries and coffee maker.

A handrail down the very long flight of steps would have felt safer.

The place was immaculate and well decorated. Excellent communication from the owner. Comfy bed, fab tv, great location.

Don't take your heels as Brixham is hilly 😅

We had a superb stay in this stunning lodge. Could not fault it. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Excellent communication from the owner too. We will definitely return.
