Parkside Lodge - Luxury Coastal Hideaway for Two

Wow, what a beautiful getaway. High quality furnishings made this an extremely comfortable stay. Milk in fridge on arrival, plenty of tea/coffee and a continuous hot water tap meant no waiting for the kettle to boil. Very comfortable bed, great shower and a very peaceful retreat. Great hosts who communicated promptly prior and during our stay. Highly recommend for couples seeking a little luxury.

What a great place to stay! Great use of space and a great location to walk in and out of Brixham. The accommodation has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The decor, facilities, TV and little additions provided by the hosts made my birthday stay extra special. It is modern, the kitchen space is great and there is a lovely outdoor decking and pond area. There are lots of steps up and down the property which are great exercise if you are able but if you struggle with steps this might be the best place to stay.

The lodge is so beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a short walk from the centre of Brixham.

Every details was perfect clean, cosy, romantic and great amenities.

We were fine with stairs but wouldn’t work for someone with mobility issues.

This is a lovely little property, it is beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches. It was immaculately clean. We particularly enjoyed the outside courtyard area where we had our morning coffee. The owners kept in contact and provided timely updates with access details.

As other reviewers have noted there is a long set of steps to reach the property. To note the property is also located at the top of a very steep road and walking back in the evening was a workout!

Location was excellent, good exercise walking back up the steep hill from the harbour. Well thought out with everything that you need for a short self-catering break . Communication from the hosts was excellent. A really beautifully styled apartment and parking too. We enjoyed sitting in the garden by the lovely pond.

The lighting was a bit too dim in the wardrobe/storage area and the sign for the hot water tap could be more prominent (there were instructions) if you are not familiar with this type of tap.
