In most respects a very good experience. We hope to return. Hostess delightful.

We thought the host not terribly welcoming, just at first. Also we were first shown to a double whereas we had booked a (I think bigger) twin, but just a mistake.

The breakfast was excellent, with a broad choice that would suit all palates. Guests have use of a very comfortable lounge and there is free parking. A nearby pub (Staunton Arms) provided us with an excellent evening meal during our one-night stay. The hosts were very welcoming.

A deep pothole in the entrance to the car park could do with filling.

Proper country style barn. So pretty, the complete opposite of modern and just generally so cozy and ‘at home’. Beautiful spot

I could have done with another plug socket and a mirror on the desk but that’s it, being a female

Comfortable property with a lounge for guests as well as the bedrooms, and a pretty garden. Good range of choices on offer for breakfast, with lovely home made bread.

Nothing to actually dislike but the decor was a bit dated.

Great location, easy to find.

Second time staying, you get a lovely warm welcome. The house has beautiful beam features a really homely feel and is spotlessly clean. The beds have crisp quality linen, we slept really well! There are quality soaps etc in the bathroom but I had my own so didn’t pay much attention tbh… there’s also a well stocked tea/coffee tray.
