The Bolingbroke Hotel

Un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Nonostante la posizione sopra al pub, le camere sono silenziose, il servizio è cordiale e il cibo (colazione e cena a pagamento) buono. Le stanze sono ampie.

Il bagno è molto datato, nella doccia la pressione dell'acqua è bassissima e lo scarico funziona male. All'arrivo la camera era fredda e per variare la temperatura bisogna chiedere.

Good parking, pretty building and friendly staff but the room was poor. Terrible bed and collapsed mattress, broken toilet, abysmal shower,broken towel rail, broken curtain rail, the smallest TV I've ever seen and an overpowering smell of disinfectant on arrival which made me feel ill. No coffee machine but there was a kettle and good biscuits and complimentary bottled water. I wanted to love my stay but there were just too many basics that were poor.

Very convenient location for our trip. Large car park, clean large room. Helpful staff.

The food - home made evening meal was great as was continental breakfast. Staff also excellent supported by the 2 dogs.

The rooms are tired and would benefit from a refresh. We had a lovely large bedroom but sparsely furnished and the bed was far too soft. They could do better with the toiletries.

Bed not very comfortable, towel rail broken, crack in toilet bowl, TV reception not good. The cherry on top was returning to the room mid afternoon to find maids key in lock and door unlocked, bad security breach. My husband on finding this took the key downstairs and spoke to a staff member about it, she took the key and assured my husband she would pass the information onto management, she didn't. It's not overly expensive for our stay but it's by no means the cheapest establishment in the town, We've been staying there for 8 years consistently. We spoke to management the night before we left about concerns, he was and is always lovely, asked why we hadn't said anything as he would have moved us, the room would still be hired out at full price so not a good resolution in our minds. Very sadly, we will be staying elsewhere in future.
