"A great place to stay"

9.0

A very well appointed cottage in a lovely location. Plenty of room for four and the kitchen was fine for catering (the decent knives were appreciated!). The nearby pub is thriving and serves good food (although one ale was undrinkable due to dirty lines).

There could have been one or two more items in the kitchen (eg; large bowls, a large saucepan suitable for pasta)

"Loved every minute"

7.0

We loved the Cottage and the area

Only 1 toilet roll left for a 8 night stay, we know it is self catering but more than 1 roll would be kind, more bin liners left would be nice too. We have dogs and keep wherever we are staying clean by vacuuming etc, however no charged battery in the vacuum cleaner so had to cope with using just a brush, no dust pan and brush either. Also the management ask persons staying to take away all their rubbish with them but without any guidance as to where to put it as no outdoor bin provided or any guidance as to where to put it.

"Lovely cottage and fantastic value"

9.0

Lovely cottage. Great location. Very comfortable. Good quality kitchen utensils and crockery etc. Very pleased with our choice and would stay again if in the area. The Boot and Shoe pub was a bonus for us as it serves good food and is within easy walking distance. We had a great stay

The property didn't appear to have been fully checked before our arrival. It was generally clean but it was disappointing to have to move several spider webs and dead spiders from the back bedroom and lounge alcove. Also there is a lack of wardrobe space. Drawers only in back bedroom and the hanging space in the main bedroom was too high to reach. Not really an issue for us but it could be if 4 people were staying

"Pleasant"

6.0

Comfy beds and furniture. Decor and quality of soft furnishings.

Fridge too small to allow one shopping trip for the stay.. Very vague instructions about rubbish disposal, no information about locations of where to take recycling and general rubbish. Struggled to open the under stairs door, but finally managed. No direct contact with owner for solving issues.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need so relaxing. We took our two dogs had a lovely birthday day cooking in the kitchen with the lovely cosy log burner glowing away. Really enjoyed our meal at the local pub on our first night 😊 X

Nothing, was all so lovely. Only thing missing maybe is a back garden but the walks in the village are so lovely and make up for that. ❤️
