My stay at Hotel Victoria Palace – South Mumbai was extremely disappointing and concerning. While the property looks appealing in pictures and descriptions online, the reality is very different. The hotel is located in a highly unsafe and unsanitary neighborhood. Upon arrival, I was harassed late at night by staff asking repeatedly about my check-in status, despite informing them that I was still at the airport. The property layout was confusing, with multiple buildings, and when I reached my room, there were individuals making me feel intimidated rather than any sense of professionalism. The payment process was chaotic. Their card machine repeatedly failed, and staff insisted I pay in cash late at night, even banging on my door multiple times to demand money, which was stressful and unprofessional. The room itself was basic, with a noticeable odor and minimal cleanliness. The bathroom and toilet were poorly maintained, with insufficient water pressure and no hot water at times. The room was also infested with mosquitoes and other bugs. There was no room service, and breakfast was disappointing and of poor quality. Beyond that, the staff were hostile, unprofessional, and disrespectful, even making inappropriate comments about my race, which made me feel unsafe and intimidated. Other guests also experienced similar treatment. Due to these experiences, I had to cancel the remainder of my stay. Overall, this property is unprofessional, unsafe, and not suitable for travelers seeking a comfortable or secure stay. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

It was really bad, Ad on Booking.com platform is misleading. Photos are not real, Staff is not co-operative, overpriced w.r.t. quality of the property

I have already discussed about the early check in and they confirm it but when i went there at 6 AM they did not gave me room and started arguing that they did not confirm me about early check in.

Room Sir, nice, but according. But according to the price, not so great.

Very bad location. According to the location, they asking so much money. There is no space to walk on the street around the hotel.

The room was nice, I liked the area, nice view from breakfast room.

The people working there don’t know how to behave. Very unprofessional, rude, slow, definitely no people who should work in a hotel. It’s a pity that a hotel with nice rooms has such an employee’s. The breakfast is pover and it takes very long before it’s served.
