GBI was really impressed with this hotel. Aesthetically its beautiful. The grounds are immaculately well kept, and the hotel itself has modern features but also rich in character. There's a pond by the restaurant that is stunning to look at creating a really peaceful atmosphere. Its a 5-8 minute cab ride from the Old Quarter giving you easy access but also offers a piece of serenity away from the hustle and bustle. They have bikes too which can guests can borrow which I think is an amazing touch which I used and would recommend cycling through the rice fields close by for a coffee. The staff spoke English with great fluency and demonstrated exceptional customer service. I stayed in a suite and the room was massive with a very spacious bathroom. My room also had a balcony with amazing views of the grounds particularly at sunrise and sunset.
I travelled during May and the heat in Hoi An was stifling. I felt that the air conditioning could have cooled the room more. Nonetheless I highlighted this to reception and within minutes I was provided with a fan which made my stay much more comfortable. I would have prefered a separate shower and bath (or even just a shower) in my en suite bathroom. Instead the shower was above the bathtub. Nevertheless, in the grand scheme of things this was a minor dislike; the suite itself was exceptional.
