Everything. Perfect rooms as well as facilities. In good weather we used the pier and it was lovely. Absolutely pristine a lovely lovely place with great grounds. Everyone we met was friendly

Not a dislike as such but it’s nicely situated seperate from people and you have a 10 minute drive or an hour walk to the nearest village Ambleside.

The house was very clean, well-maintained, and nicely designed. It is a comfortable and attractive property, and it’s clear that care has been taken to keep it in good condition.

The heating was not turned on in advance. Upon arrival, we had to activate it ourselves with guidance from the host, accessing a service room located outside the house. It then took several hours for the house to warm up, which was quite uncomfortable. One night, there was a power outage from 9:00 PM until 4:30 AM. During this time, there was also no water in the house. According to a message from the local electricity company, this appears to be a recurring issue in the area, which is concerning and should be clearly communicated to guests. There was a problem with the WiFi that was only resolved after three days of our stay, which caused inconvenience.

Great location,lovely accommodation,helpful hosts,really enjoyed our stay for a 70th birthday celebration.

Think the toaster needs updating and didn’t know how to use the coffee machine but wasn’t a problem.
