HA-MON Slope Side Hotel and Private Chalet

The staff was very friendly, and the facilities were great!

RIGHT ON THE SLOPE WITH BALCONY! Room was very big. Plenty of space to put away suitcases and dry room downstairs for ski gear. Bed was huge and comfortable.

The listing on booking.com and the official sites do NOT properly clarify the shared bathroom. The 1 female and 1 Male toilets and washing machine are available upstairs. The showers are downstairs. With more toilets. Think dorm style. There a 2 private showers only for the whole chalet. NO HAIRDRYER. NO FRIDGE in room. People put there items out on the balcony to keep cold. You will need to cart suitcases upstairs. NO LIFTS. Than do the stairs for the dry room and showering room. HAKUBA does not have food available all day. You will need to strategically plan your eating to the opening times of places nearby. Or get food from the convenience store.

Skiin ski out

This is a gorgeous Japanese place with some tatami rooms and a lovely Japanese feel. It's a great ski-in, ski-out location. The food was also really good.

I probably would have prefered my own bathroom as going downstairs in the middle of the night was not ideal but it was really fun to stay in such a traditional quirky and interesting old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Les chambres sont TRES MAL ISOLÉES ! Il suffit qu'une personne rentre tard (comme dans notre cas vers 3h00 du matin) pour que toutes les personnes de l'étage soient réveillées...
