Lovely double room with private bathroom and Double room with shared toilet & PARKING FREE

Overall locality was central but the specific location was a room in a shared unit in a block of flats in a complex of 14 in total in a semi-industrial area. The room did not reflect the description given nor the overall expectation of the locality of Leith.

Unsatisfactory accommodation because: Building very run down Property details were not sent 1 day in advance. Had to ring owner on arrival to get room number Owner doesn't speak English Difficulty getting access to building. Building located in a semi-industrial area Key lock hard to find. Situated near the ground away from main door Security poor. No lock on flat door. Just a flimsy hook on inside of door. Could easily be broken into.. No milk Teabags out of code -expired April, 2024 Only decaffeinated coffee -2 sachets No hanging space - locked cupboard full of owners stuff. Plug in air fresheners - made room very smelly and heady Heaps of gaudy and unnecessary room decorations in room. Plastic flowers and ornaments everywhere. Very expensive for what you get £122/night Doona very lumpy No TV No fire emergency instructions available. Earth wire in bathroom loose posing an electrical safety hazard Plenty of parking under the building but just 'test your luck' for street parking outside the building. This was despite being told free parking was available. Kettle had to be propped on its side to make work.

Hôte invisible, injoignable. N'envoie pas les codes de récupération des clés, ni de précisions sur le lieu exact de la location. Immeuble collectif en bord de zone industrielle. Extérieurs bruyants. On comprend vite qu'on est là pour payer, et ne pas déranger.

Tiny room, shared bathroom & owner messaged me to please do not slap the door after 11:38 pm . We were in bed. Never saw the property owner.

No place to hang clothes. No milk provided for tea. Could do with more cleanliness.

Private bothroom - only bath WITHOUT SHOWER TUB (this is something what you usually dont expect, I havent seen a bath without shower for ages), so we had to use shared bathroom with shower. Flat in general clean (including bathroom) but its very visible that the owner doesnt invest in the flat much (old furniture (even small cheap things are old), badly working kettle). For one night before departure ok. Residential area, one room in the flat (its more in AirBnB style, not for booking, we shared the flat with other people (maybe guests, maybe owners) - for cheap AirBnB ok - our room had locker at the door. 800m from tram stop, so ok to get to the airport
