We absolutely loved the location at Mount Cook village. The views are simply stunning and provided a real feeling of isolation and seclusion—it was the perfect mountain retreat. The stay was very comfortable, and the inclusion of a kitchenette was extremely handy, especially since dining options are limited in the area. The only suggestion we have relates to the area's unpredictable weather. As the weather can change dramatically, we were stuck indoors for a full day due to heavy rain. A higher quality TV or a better cable/streaming service would be a fantastic addition to the amenities, turning a rainy day into a cozy movie night/day. Overall, a wonderful, comfortable stay that we would highly recommend!

Accomodation was perfectly located to see Mt Cook. The room was big and the bed was comfy. The room had a skylight for viewing the stars on a clear night. The drive there had incredible views.

If you are not willing to pay 80 per person for dinner ensure you stop at the grocery store before you arrival as there are no food alternatives

Breakfast was fantastic value, great food in a lovely venue with great views. Clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff and a really cosy grill upstairs with nice pizza.

we weren’t able to make the room cooler due to aircon remote not working/not enabled for cooling, we were roasting overnight. We totally understand the area is very cold, but the room’s ambient temperature was way too high and we had to crack open a window in -6 degree weather to cool off.
