Wonderful view. Easy access to hiking trails nearby. Good good in the bar. Ground heater in bathroom helps a lot.

No breakfast. Need to drive to Hermitage hotel for breakfast. 45NZD per person is expensive.

"An excellent stay with clean facilities and a luxurious feel with wonderful staff."

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious and luxurious. The tiles were heated in the bathroom which was a pleasant surprise. There aren’t many local food options, however the restaurant on site was very good and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were kind and very punctual.

The local food options were limited to either their restaurant or a buffet at the Hermitage. But there was variety in the options at their restaurant and good quality food
