The host is a wonderful woman who is very hospitable and takes excellent care of all small details including making up the beds.

I liked most about the property was the warm welcome I got from the host, she was very efficient and was ready for me to arrive whenever. When I arrived I was shown around the house and then to my room & handed my key. She demonstrated how to use the locks on the doors & made sure I was ok, evening messaging me in the morning to see if I needed anything. Was very sweet! Also, the pets are great. All well behaved & very friendly, you can’t resist stroking them haha. The area is great if you want to have a stroll into the centre of Madrid, but also it’s a very quick bike/taxi/bus ride there also, but I loved the architecture so I opted for walking. With shops you’re spoilt for choice, even a nearby 24hr grocer - you can’t go wrong with this location. Would highly recommend!

The hosts were friendly. You live in a spare room in the host's family flat. The room was tidy with a big comfortable bed. The interior of the property was full of cute animal-themed things. The location is nice. The nearest metro station is a 15-minute walk, the Sur bus station is 20 minutes. There is a direct bus connection with the city metro of the Atocha train station, the bus stop is right near the building. The main highlight is the adorable pets living in the flat: a couple of sweet tiny chihuahuas and a whole lot of friendly sphynx cats.

Nothing that could spoil my impression. Still, there were a few things that could be fixed: the shower tap had its handle falling off constantly, and the room door was hard to close and open. It's a shame I don't know Spanish so I could not have a proper chat with hosts. You need to love pets to fully enjoy your stay here.

Super nice host. Quiet neighborhood 40 min walk from Atocha train station, but there are bus stops nearby.

it was a bit cumbersome to go to the shared toilet in this small apartment. The 4 cats also have their litter box in the toilet which makes it all very cramped, but it worked. Toilet and shower were clean, but one of the catch left droppings on the floor one morning. There were cleaned up quickly though.

Host was amazing, very attentive & engaging with her clients.

Great little residential area but well connected to public transport

Most important thing, the people, Ciss is a wonderful host, her husband, Ángel, really friendly person to have any kind of conversation, and her amazing kids Diego and Ángela. They are running a wonderful family with pets in a house with place for guests. The cats are adorable and the dogs super cute, if you like pets, thats your place.

The area is more limited than city center and you need to use bus or Metro to communicate to the center, anyway for this quality and price you will not find nothing better in whole Madrid.
