In general we did not like this place.

No intimacy, we had to share the lodgers house, even the bathroom, everywhere her belongings. All the apartmente full of ornaments, and everywhere strange tiny dogs and egiptian cats. Really disturbing. The owner only talked about her illnesses. The neighbourhood did not seem secure at night. Price was quite expensive in relation to services, at least double what they should charge.

Lovely lady in charge. Be aware you are staying in a family home and like pets. Brilliant value for money. Perfect location for me. Take bus 24 to the door Will stay again

The room was great with all facilities and amenities. The host is super kind and generous.

Clean and tidy

Overall it is not too dirty

Too many animals, strong smell. 5 people share one washroom. Pay extra money for lundry

The neighbourhood: I liked the area. It was this main draw for me. It was self-contained, had all the shops, bars, restaurants you might need, a big supermarket, a small park/ square. It was accessible on the bus (no; 24) and metro, Puente de Vallecas (10 min walk) and not far from Atocha. It made a nice change from chaotic and over energetic central Madrid. A working class district with the usual range and diversity of people.

I think the host should make it clear that this is a pet household, lots of cats and a couple of little muts: animals smell, their food stinks. Odours are part of the deal. A guest who loves being with and among pets, sharing all space with them would be fine in this environment. If you don’t want to breathe pets this is not this place for you. On the subject of the bathroom I would add that there were four adults and two children using the same small bathroom. Some might find this too intimate.

Great place: lovely room, central location, friendly host. Highly recommend
