B&B Riccioli

Finally an accommodation that look exactly same as on the photos.. all nice and tidy, clean bathroom... Marco the manager is really helpful. The location is perfect, the dome is around the corner, in the morning there is market just beside the building and in the evening the house is surrounded by fine restaurants and bars.. we really enjoyed it here !!

This is a fantastic B&B right in the centre of the city. It felt like an authentic experience rather than a touristy area. The room was huge and the bed was very comfy. Our room had dual aspect with balconies where you could sit and drink a coffee and watch the markets and people sitting out with their meal and drinks. It was very private and felt more like staying in our own apartment. Communication with the owner was excellent. There is a shared kitchen where you can make coffee and your breakfast. You are right in the centre of the busy market and bar scene so don’t expect it to be quiet at night but we loved this. I would definitely stay hear again. The tour guides who took us out each day all said that we were staying in the best part of Catania. If you want to experience real Sicily, this is the place to stay. The locals were also very friendly and the area felt safe even though it was busy. There is a small shop across from the front door where you can nip out to if you need water and snacks. I can’t wait to go back!

It was not an issue for us but just be mindful if you do have mobility/fitness issues, the rooms are upstairs with no lift. Great though to work off all the pizza and cannoli!!

The place is right in the center of the ancient complex and inside the lively market of Catania. The room is very spacious, and renovated to a high modern standard. All the rooms have a shared kitchen equipped with everything you need. Francesco is pleasant and welcoming, helps in every matter. We highly recommend the place.

Francesco was very communicative and helpful! I wish I had known about B&B Riccioli at the beginning of my trip that started in Catania! Great space. Highly recommend!
