Little Dockray One-Bed Apartment Centre of Penrith

The apartment itself was nice enough, though there are definitely issues with damp and previous water damage from the flat upstairs. However, it was comfortable enough and a nice enough place to stay.

Mobile reception was non-existent (across 3, o2 and EE) and the WiFi wasn't working properly so was on sometimes and not others, so we literally had no means of being able to call our children. On the night we got there we had to try and speak to the owner / manager of the property and I called 3 or 4 times, my wife called 6 times and they never once answered, and still haven't called back. She also emailed them without response. Whoever owns / manages the property are the worst I've ever experienced, to ignore so many calls and an email is truly shocking. Potential to be a really decent place to stay, completely let down by the owners/manager who once they have your money don't appear to care at all. I'd avoid at all costs because of them.

No breakfast facilities, it was bring your own. Saying that, there were plenty of eating establishments around.

The entrance from street level was not the best and may put some people off.
